Draw or Convert
Any open line becomes a pipe. Convert from the right-click menu, or draw onto a pipe layer directly.
Concept & Detail Modes
Concept sizes a layout quickly for early design. Detail runs a full hydraulic simulation. Set per network; the app switches to Detail when the layout requires it.
Node Roles
Any point can be a source, outlet, junction, valve, or fitting, and can hold more than one role. Outlets and valves can sit anywhere along a pipe.
Source Types
Generic, Dam, Tank, and Well. Dams and tanks hold a volume that fills and drains for time-based design. Wells are pumped.
Pumps
Each source can carry a pump — a catalogue pump with its curve, or a fixed lift. A low dam can pump to a high tank that then gravity-feeds the field.
Multiple Linked Sources
Chain sources that feed each other, with looped networks, storage, and zone scheduling over a day.
Real Valves
PRV, PSV, FCV, and TCV, placed anywhere in the network.
Pipe Sizing
Size to a target pressure or a target flow. Sizing accounts for the highest pressure along a run.
Pipe Catalogue
Manufacturer catalogues plus generic PVC, HDPE, and PE in common sizes. Assign in batch or override a single pipe.
Pump Catalogue
Australian and US manufacturer pumps, searchable by maker.
Per-Stretch Sizing
A single pipe can carry a different bore and material on each stretch. Click a stretch to select it alone.
Subdivide into Stick Lengths
Break a pipe into fixed lengths with a fitting at every join. Per pipe, in batch, or while drawing.
Fittings
Bends become elbows by default, each charged its own pressure loss by angle.
Terrain-Following Lengths
Sizing, pressure results, and quantities use the true length over the ground, not the map distance.
Bill of Quantities
Pipes, valves, fittings, and tank sources listed by item, material, bore, class, length, and quantity. Pipes count by length. Units switch per column.
Manufacturer Part Links
Fitting rows link to the manufacturer’s product page.
Network Tables
A per-pipe table and a per-outlet table with cyclable units, search, resizable columns, and double-click rename.
Profile Tab
A ground-following cross-section of any pipe run, with the pipe’s own grade line and hydraulic energy line drawn against the terrain. Drag a point on the chart and pressure updates before you let go. A synced table lists every point — distance, elevation, role, fittings, required pressure, flow — editable and sortable. Recolour the legend; export the chart as an image.
Editable Bill
Work the bill, not just read it. Click a stretch’s material, bore or class to pick from the catalogue; change what a fitting is, what a valve does, or which pump a tank carries. Changes show on the Pipe Network and Profile too.
Order Lengths & Offcut
Set a pipe’s bought-in length — 6 m sticks, say — and the bill states how many lengths to order and what is left over.
Outlet Verdicts
Two verdict columns: whether an outlet got the pressure it needed, and whether a stretch delivers everything downstream of it. The tab also names the next thing needed to finish a run, and points at where to set it.
Per-Outlet Pressure
Type each outlet’s own required pressure in the table, instead of one figure for the whole run.
On the Map
Node and pipe labels at real-world size, an adjustable colour legend, and flow in L/s or GPM.
Gap Warnings
Routes crossing gaps in elevation data are flagged, with affected lengths reported as a minimum.
Network Export
Export the whole network to Google Earth as KMZ.
